Overview:

In general, ordinary pressure or differential pressure transmitters can be used for measurement. For one of the following situations, a remote pressure/differential pressure transmitter needs to be selected:

When the tested medium is led out with a pressure tube, it is prone to solidification or crystallization;

The tested medium contains suspended solids or is too viscous, which can easily block the pressure tube;

The temperature of the measured medium is too high or corrosive, which is not conducive to direct measurement;

The measured medium is food or other medium that requires hygiene conditions and cannot be contaminated. Its basic measuring element has the same technical performance and indicators as the 3151 pressure/differential pressure transmitter. Adding a remote transmission device will result in a slight decrease in measurement accuracy and slower reaction speed, especially when the capillary tube exceeds 10 meters and the pressure is relatively low. Attention should be paid to the installation position to ensure that the measured pressure is within the measurement range of the basic measuring element.
