Detailed introduction

The ZXLDG-IV battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter is specifically designed for the water industry, ensuring accurate water billing for urban water supply. It is widely used in places without on-site power supply, such as urban water supply, wastewater treatment, hydraulic engineering, water administration, and water resources industries. Also known as an intelligent low-power electromagnetic flowmeter, it operates on battery power, provides on-site display and pulse output, and can continuously operate for up to three years. It is also applied in base station wireless communication network systems, establishing communication base stations within a radius of 1000 meters. Alternatively, data communication can be directly completed through GPRS or CDMA mobile phone communication networks.


The battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter features a specially designed sensor excitation system and a high-performance lithium battery power supply system. The electromagnetic flow sensor is made using Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When a conductive liquid moves in the alternating magnetic field along the measuring tube in a direction perpendicular to the magnetic field lines, the conductive liquid cuts through the magnetic field lines, generating an induced electromotive force. A pair of electrodes are installed on the tube wall, which is perpendicular to both the axis of the measuring tube and the magnetic field lines. These electrodes detect the generated induced electromotive force. This induced electromotive force is proportional to the flow rate, and by measuring this induced electromotive force, the flow rate through the sensor can be derived. This flow signal (induced electromotive force) is input into a converter and amplified to convert it into a digital signal proportional to the flow signal, thus achieving flow measurement.
