Overview:
A new type of volumetric flowmeter developed based on the principle of gear motors is used for precise continuous or intermittent measurement of liquid flow or instantaneous flow in pipelines. It is suitable for flow measurement of high viscosity media such as heavy oil, polyvinyl alcohol, and resin, and can accurately measure small flow rates.
Working principle and structure:
There is a pair of gears that mesh with each other inside the flowmeter chamber as rotors. The two gears and the chamber can form a fixed volume, which is called the standard volume. Flow rate is measured by calculating the number of flows through the standard volume over a certain period of time.
Structural characteristics:
According to the principle of gear motor, measuring gears is driven by liquid flow.
The gear operates without contact within the measuring chamber. Use low friction ball bearings or sliding bearings.
The movement of the gears is monitored by non-contact sensors located inside the cover plate. A non-magnetic pressure resistant partition is installed between the sensor room and the measuring room.
When the measuring mechanism rotates one tooth, the sensor emits a signal corresponding to a tooth capacity Vgz.
Convert the signal into a square wave signal through a preamplifier.
