Precautions for using gas flowmeter:

Gas flow meters are widely used in industrial production and daily life industries, such as petroleum, chemical, power, metallurgy, urban gas and water supply, etc. In the process of using gas flow meters, the following requirements should be followed to ensure that we are proficient in both selection and maintenance, and to increase the service life.

1、 Instrument model determination: There are also many models for gas flow meters, and we should choose according to actual needs. At the same time, the selection of supporting components is also very important. When making a choice, we need to consider three points: first, achieving the required accuracy; second, meeting the production safety requirements; and third, meeting the production requirements.

2、 Pre use calibration: In order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurement results of the flow sensor in future use, we need to send the flow sensor to a department with the ability and qualifications to perform a full flow range system calibration before formal installation and use. Do not easily judge the qualification of the components based on the factory certificate provided by the manufacturer.

3、 Reliable installation technology: The installation of any type of flowmeter requires avoiding vibration and high temperature environments, as this can interfere with the accuracy of the flowmeter and the use of components. Keep the inner walls of the straight pipe sections before and after the flow sensor smooth and straight, and ensure that the measured medium is a clean single-phase fluid.
